| HCT 2000 Total hydrocarbons or volatile organic compounds analyser by flame ionisation detection |
 | The main characteristic of this F.I.D. detector is that it uses a sampling pump which is located downstream of the burner; absorption or condensation risks upstream of the analyser are thus avoided. Moreover the burner's design is such that ambient air will be used as an auxiliary combustible thus avoiding the use of a bottle or of a pure air generator. |

| NOX 2000 Chemiluminescence NOX Analyser |
 | Every 80 s. the sample circulates in a pre-reactor before entering the reaction cell. All the NO is oxydized before measurement providing dynamic zero compensation. Such a device eliminates the need of zero adjustments while reducing interference from hydracarbons and fluorescence of the reaction cell. An adaptable digital filter allows fast response for rapidly changing NOX levels while providing a weak signal for steady state conditions. The 16 bits micro-processor calculates continuous mean values and eliminates many of the difficulties such as negative NO2 common to previous single channel NOX analysers. |

| Opastop Type GP2000H Continuous dust concentration or smoke number monitoring equipment |
 | A modulated light source emits a conical light beam at constant frequency and amplitude in the measuring zone A.
A receiver intercept the light reflected by the dust particles in the flue gas, and an electronic filter circuit eliminates the effects of parasitic light sources, such as daylight.
Light reflection is a complex phenomenon depending particularly on the angle between the incidence and the diffusion of the light, the wave-length of the light and the form of the particles suspended in the gas stream. Basically, the varying intensity of reflected light is a direct function of the dust concentration.
The cell converts the light flux into an electrical signal which can be recorded. An in-situ calibration by comparison to a ponderable reference method is necessary. |

| OZ 2000 U.V. Photometry OZONE Analyzer |
 | The concentration of ozone is determined by the attenuation of 254 nm UV light along a single path cell. The ozone's absorption of UV light is proportional to the ozone concentration in the athmosphere. |

| SF 2000 U.V. Fluorescence SO2 Analyzer |
 | The U.V. source is a zinc ray lamp which has proved its worth in hundreds of SO2 analysers manufactured by SERES for many years. It eliminates interference from water vapour and has a life expectancy of more than 2 years life. Aromatic hydrocarbons are eliminated by means of a selective membrane. The various components are placed in the temperature controlled optical compartment to avoid drift. Zero control (automatic, manual or remote) is carried out by an internal charcoal scrubber and calibration control can be carried out using an internal permeation bench.

| BTX 2000 G Benzene-Toluene-Xylene Analyzer |
 | Measurement of BTX in ambient air is usually achieved by gas chromatography after enrichment of this compounds in a trap. This laboratory measurement has been automatized but still remains complex and costly.
This is the reason why Seres decided to design and develop in parternship with the EMSE (Ecole des Mines de St Etienne / France) an analyser based on UV spectrophotometry measurement.

| DATA 2000 Data acquisition system |
 | The DATA 2000 is a Data Acquisition System allowing data acquisition from up to 32 sensors (numerical or analog) and management of various automatic processes between the analysers and different sub-assemblies.
This is a multiparameter, multiprocessor acquisition system, that can be adapted to fully meet all customers' requirements.
It acts as the interface between the analysers and a Supervisor or an Automatism Manager.

| SPECTROFLUX Automatic UV VIS continuous flux spectrometer |
 | Analytical method :
A holographic grating associated with a strip of photodiods enables scanning of the spectrum from 190 to 820 nm. Combined spectrum analysis and multivariates data processing ensure that the influence of interference factors is eliminated.
Either free fall : no risk of fouling.
Or measuring vessel if dilution necessary.
No reagent.
Internal calibration : no measure with standard solution required.
Instantaneous start-up.
Autovalidation of results : very high reliability of measurements, alarm if unexpected interference is detected. |

| TOC 2000 Total organic carbon |
 | THE TOTAL ORGANIC CARBON takes account of the carbon present in organic matter. This measurement rapidly provides an estimate of the organic pollution and in most cases can be correlated to the COD.
ANALYTICAL METHOD
Low temperature oxidation by UV radiation of the organic carbon following the elimination of inorganic carbon.
Infra-Red measurement of purified CO2.
